IN THIS MINI EXPERIENCE WE’LL COVER HOW TO :

  • 📸 Extract the visual cues from your photos
… so you can find your 'main idea' to hang your painting on!

  • 📒 Create the beginnings of your painter's playbook (or 'playwall'!)
… so you'll never be stuck for painting ideas!

  • ⛔️ How NOT to mix colour according to your photos
… well it's not that it's 'wrong' - it just limits you!

  • 🌈 And of course how you can mix vibrant colour
…so you can be in charge of making the colour choices - not the photo! No more flat muddy colour!

  • 🖼 How to create a ‘painterly’ looking painting
…. one of the biggest ways too not make our paintings look like photos

  • 🖌 How to get loose with expressive brushstrokes

    3 Exercises. 3 30-Minute Videos.

You don’t need to be a photographer to paint from photo references.

  • Begin bridging the gap between what’s in front of you and expressing HOW YOU SEE IT!
